About the role:

As an Account Executive, you are more than “just” a sales account executive and your quota. At Mperativ, we believe in the next generation of Go-To-Market. We are looking for growth executives with proven sales experience who are excited to join us on our journey to disrupt B2B sales and marketing, challenge traditional GTM playbooks, and bring creative ideas to drive growth for Mperativ and your customers.You will be responsible for building pipeline velocity and managing the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal to renewals and upsells. You also will act as a revenue marketing advisor for your customers and establish long-term relationships within your account. You will get creative and bring ideas to Mperativ executives to help build the Mperativ GTM playbook. You will leverage our purpose-built revenue marketing platform and become a Mperativ expert to drive your own success and learn best practices that you can pass on to your Mperativ accounts.We are looking for people who not only have a track record of building pipeline and closing deals, but also who fundamentally want to change B2B marketing and sales. You will be passionate about evangelizing revenue marketing. This is a unique opportunity to join Mperativ to help shape and accelerate our GTM growth, while also helping to do the same for our customers.

This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any United States location. Candidates ideally are close to a metropolitan area for networking and occasional travel.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and guide prospects through every stage of their journey—from initial lead to closing, renewal, and upsell opportunities
  • Serve as a trusted revenue marketing advisor to marketing leaders and other executives - CMOs, VP Marketing, CROs, CFOs, Head of Revenue Operations
  • Clearly articulate the Mperativ value proposition. Create enthusiasm and excitement with prospects and customers around revenue marketing
  • Demo our purpose-built revenue marketing platform as a passionate Mperativ advocate
  • Leverage Mperativ internally to monitor and drive your own success in building pipeline and converting leads and opportunities
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with your customers
  • Support GTM best practices (e.g., update weekly sales forecast, maintain CRM hygiene, follow sales methodology)
  • Collaborate with Marketing on targeted demand-generation campaigns and brainstorm how to increase pipeline velocity
  • Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure Mperativ customers are delighted
  • Contribute to building, challenging, and scaling the Mperativ GTM playbook
  • Build Mperativ community across Marketing, Sales, and RevOps teams

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of software sales experience, specifically B2B enterprise SaaS
  • Proven success closing net new accounts ranging from $50K-$200K ARR
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to develop a deep understanding of the Mperativ revenue marketing platform and our customers’ needs
  • Proven ability to articulate contractual, technical, and financial value points to prospects and customers, including executive leaders
  • Previous outbound prospecting experience and demonstrated ability to contribute to building pipeline and collaborating with the Marketing team
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success leaders
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced dynamic environment
  • Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Previous experience engaging and selling to Marketing leaders and other GTM executives - CMOs, VP Marketing, CROs, CFOs, Head of Revenue Operations
  • Familiarity with GTM tech landscape - Salesforce, Hubspot, 6sense, Outreach, Gong, Demandbase - and impact to Marketing teams
  • Extensive knowledge of Hubspot and/or Salesforce CRM platforms

To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share base pay ranges on all job postings regardless of the desired hiring location. The total target cash range for this position is between $140,000 and $200,000. Mperativ benefits and perks are described below.Final base pay offer amounts will vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to function, level, geographic location, job related knowledge, skills, and experience. Base pay will be adjusted for part-time roles to reflect scheduled hours.
